Who We Are
We're four friends who share a love of a cappella (unaccompanied) singing.
We also sing or have sung in barbershop choruses, other quartets, pop groups, male voice and mixed a capella choirs.
Some of us play the odd musical instrument, and some of us play proper ones!
Richard
Hails from Marple, via the Black Country and France (not many people can say
that). Sings mostly baritone, occasionally other parts. Contributes clever words and arrangements when we need them.
Ian
Lives in Hazel Grove, formerly from Timperley. Mostly sings the lead (melody) part and acts as our chief pitch checker. A gold medal winner in the barbershop world, no less.
Rick
From Hazel Grove, originally South Wales (hence the red shirt). Organises rehearsals, plays ukulele when not prevented, and generally interferes.
Roger
Hails from Cheadle Hulme and Stockport, sings mostly bass. Writes lots of lovely arrangements and keeps us in time. Plays keyboards, guitar and ukulele.
Supporting each other all the way!
